I have a dream. I want to stop my activity for a week, lock myself in the house and paint non-stop. Yes, it is just a dream, specially considering the list of my "have to be done today"s. Today morning it took only one hour to draw these two small paintings. But I was so calm, peaceful and content when finished. And relaxed. The inner voice telling me "paint-paint-paint-you haven't painted for two-three-five days" was silent. No, I am not mad, I am hooked by the magic of creativity.

Joanne and her useful and interesting blog "Journeys in Art" posted the pears' photo. Here is my version of it. I love the magic of light and shadow which gives life and volume to flat and dull sample.

I liked - try of negative painting; violet as shadows color; loose style when draw houses, smiling back of the car; my first try to send to DSFDF.
I did not like - hand was so tense at least half time of the process (it wanted to 100% repeat the photo) and head could not stop it. The idea to send the painting to DSFDF paralysed the pleasure of "I do not care about" result.

A3 on pastel paper
DSFDF gave three weeks for this project, but I finished only today, too late to send.
When I saw what DSFDF offered for the challenge, I was confused. Again, my "first time" situation: in figure drawing, in figure painting, in watercolor figure painting, bla-bla-bla. But I was hooked and planned to draw pastel though finished with watercolor.
There was no way I wanted to place the wall. What to do? The guy looked too lonely so the girl joined him.
Besides other features of painting the strong one is the ability to laugh looking at the result :-)
No, the guy did not have "an accident", it is wrong color choosen to make shadow under him.
