Sandals

39x28cm, Watercolor and W.pencils on Arches 150gr

I planned to remove the summer clothes/shoes to the far wardrobe today and to replace them with winter stuff. Instead these sandals distracted me. They were purchased in the end of the season and worn only twice.
So I painted them. I am trying to fool the winter.

  1. I left a comment on Facebook but I'd like to say it again, these sandals have something, Irina!
I suspect you could fool the winter, even if only for a few moments...

  4. Well done! But I could never wear such a sandal now. Maybe many years ago these would have been my favorite shoes, but now my shoes must be less high.
