I did it! The lesson still life in my Saturday drawing school, which I started 5(!) Saturdays ago. It is rather huge, 50x70cm (20"x28") and almost killed me with the quantity of strokes I had to make.
Developing patience and attention to details (I do not have much of any) are another great reason to study drawing.
I like this VERY much - you captured the fabric folds very well (as well as the other objects!). I would say that you are plenty patient to have drawn this in such a large size.
ReplyDeleteYay, Irina!

Congrats, Irina!! It is very beautiful. You should be so proud of yourself!!
ReplyDeleteConsidering its size, I can imagine how much effort has gone in to this one, so I would say it is a masterpiece! The folds of the fabric, the shine on the stool, the can, everything looks perfect:-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, it requires a bit of patience to learn, but it's well worth it, for us and for your own satisfaction! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteIt's a huge piece - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYay!!!! The patience has certainly paid off. Beautiful work!
