Train

30cm x 40cm, oil pastel on craft paper
Inspired by the photo of some South American town where the tram track was put at very narrow street. So the inhabitants of the houses could sell fruits and vegetables directly to the passengers of slowly moving tram. And the products were places on the ground near the track. Amazing world.
It was fun to draw in oil pastels, crazy colors. Oh, the train is smiling...

    I saw in television in a service related to a train that just passed so close to the market and sellers close the curtains and attach themselves to the walls to let the train pass!

    I love this painting, as usual.

    Perhaps the town is Agua Calientes. It is the town at the base of Machu Picchu in Peru. Tourists arrive by train. The vendors stalls are so close to the train tracks that when the trains go past people have to retreat into the stalls. Tourists walk down the tracks to shop, and the shop keepers' children play on the tracks, scurrying into stalls when the trains approach.

    I love this happy painting. That's the spirit to enjoy drawing!! I use oil pastels, sometimes. Personally, I do not know a difference between crayons and oil pastels... really, seriouslyʚ(ˆ◡ˆ)ɞ .
