I was intrigued by values and soft/hard edges in the photo.

    Oh, I love how you blended the shady side of the objects with the dark background! It makes it look so natural - objects and background are part of the same space. That must be what they talk about in the painting books... Beautiful painting, Irina!

    The light and shadow in this is terrific. I really like the pink in the peaches and the bright blue in the pitcher.
