Figure sketching is always big stress for me. This time it was stress doubled. There was a nice young couple posing in 1, 3, 5 and 15 minutes sessions.
It is funny: when I look at the sketches right after the session they look ugly, lacking proportions and volume. But the next morning the sketches look not so bad, I even satisfied with the result. So what does happen during the night??

I find there is a certain tension and stress to life drawing which is only amplified by the short time frame for quick, gestural sketches. I have never attended a session with two models and quite agree - double the stress for sure! I don't have an explanation for what happens overnight - but it happens to me too! I think you have captured a lot of energy and wonderful lines in these. It is right that you should be very happy with them!
