It is so confusing and uncomfortable to draw in public. Specially when you know your sketches are disaster.
I have to draw in public as often as I can.
I wasn't going to look at blogs tonight, but I saw this and had to click on it. It's so fluid. I love it. Especially the man on the right. Have I shared Pasadena Adjacent's blog with you? She is doing watercolors. http://pasadenaadjacent.com/ She and a small group (three or four people) find a location and go together. Maybe you have an artist friend or two who would like to try it with you?
I don't see any disasters here - in fact these sketches are lively and energetic. I agree - it is very hard to sketch in public. You need nerves of steel!
